Default Welp, I just got scammed.

I was trading 4 ecto for 41k today. I got 2 wispers, I always take the one that comes first, even if the 2nd one has a better deal. I met at the storage and I put up the 4 ecto, but didn't press the submit offer, not because I was waiting on the money or anything, but because I forgot. I wispered her(most likely a guy, no offence but I don't know of many girl scammers) with a ? to soon realise that I didn't have submit offer up, she was flashing the 41 gold (of course it is hard to tell with the flashing, that is why) I quickly put up submit and hit enter not wanting to inconvenience the customer, which was my mistake, just being nice and not holding someone too long. I don't blame the game system or the person fully, I blame my self partially, but it would be nice if no one else had the same mistake.

Screens.

I messeged her back once she came back on from running away from any negitive comments she would of gotten afterwards (they all do that.) She offered to give them back in return I don't post, I know she was just messing with me, also I don't care too much about the ecto. Then all of a sudden a random string of how she was scammed about something and where can she post it and such.. people I swear.

You weren't 'scammed'. You were just careless. The fact that she/he ran off instead of giving you the benefit of the doubt is just a demonstration of the fact that you should always be careful, because nobody can be trusted to do the right thing.

Yes, I admitted that d=

I'm not angry or anything, I just don't want people to get too careless with this person.

Don't worry, I'm not too careless with ANY person. I have a motto when it comes to money, either real or computer-generated: think the worst of someone until they prove you wrong. It's an attitude which stems from having a thief for a sister I suppose. I think it's one that more people should have, though. It's a shame people have to learn the hard way (like I did) before being more cautious.

Hell, i always take my time when trading. I submit offer then i wait till i accept, double checking everything is in order. I do good prices for the items i get, and i know that its hard to find them at non ridiculous prices.
So if the person cancels the trade it doesnt bother me. Basically if you ever have a bad feeling about a trade or someone just has that glint of being dodgy. End it.

If you find someone that you find you liked trading with etc then i suggest to ask to add them to trade with the future. As you know they are okay and reliable to trade with.
